David Weaver Bungee Jump for the 2026 Festival
In support of the 2026 Festival, David Weaver has arranged to do a bungee jump at LARPOOL VIADUCT, WHITBY.
By kind permission of the PGM, all monies initially raised will be for the 2026 Festival, but with 50% donation going to Cancer Research in support of W Bro Weaver’s elder brother who is presently undergoing treatment for bone cancer.
- Stage 1, having his hair shaved, has now been completed (17 July 2023)
Stage 1
- Stage 2, being on a stringent diet before the bungee jump, is underway.
- Stage 3, the actual jump, is fast approaching!
This will be on 1st October 2023, at 11.20 am, a few days after Russell Lodge’s first regular meeting of the new season.

David has chosen the venue offering the largest bridge jump in the UK, and he wanted it to be over a river and in a picturesque venue, not hung from a crane over tarmac!
